Palm Beach North / Tallebudgera Recreation Centre Water Safety, First Aid and CPR training courses:

  • All students must complete booking via the course calendar a minimum 24 hours prior to attending.

  • Courses will be subject to cancellation if minimum numbers aren’t met.

  • Courses will not run on QLD Public Holidays, please check the booking calendar for specific dates.

Gold Coast Recreation Precinct

The Gold Coast Recreation Precinct offers accommodation and outdoor recreation and adventure activities for community, school and family groups. The precinct is located in Tallebudgera between the Burleigh Head National Park and the Tallebudgera Creek.

We promote exciting, facilitated outdoor recreation and have all the skills to deliver the ideal experience for you and your group.

Our Ocean Safety Certifications are held in Tallebugera Creek, along side the Recreation Centre from 6:00am. This is a necessary qualification for Surf Instructors or those who are working in an aquatic environment.

We then head inside the Gold Coast Recreation Precent to completed our First Aid, Advanced Resuscitation and CPR training.

Our Pool Lifeguard courses (annual refresher and for new students) are held in the centres pool. There is a heated outdoor, 6 lane, 25 metre swimming pool. Change rooms and shower facilities are available.
